Hello, very often you have to use the vendir drivers instead of the included ones in the OS. Most of them time they are the better option. And using only windowsupdate will not always give you the newest drivers from the vendor.Check Nvidia website for the correct new drivers and you will be fine. This is the same when Windows 7 starts, the vendor have to provide the correct driver, not MS.Small remark, this is a Windows Server forum not workstation.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

hi there, Meinolf is absolutely correct, you should constantly keep an eye on all possible drivers used in an OS . the major which one should consider are a) Display drivers b) Network driversc) if you are usingexternal storagethen you might consider the disk driver as wellPlease understand drivers are OS specific so driver vendors have to take additional pain to code them and support to the corresponding OS. So you need to have a constant watch on them. This is a server forum, if you need any more help on workstation OS ( vista / windows7 ) i am providing the relevant link belowfor vista http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsvistaitprofor windows7 http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/w7itprobest of luck.sainath !analyze
